Ekkono Closes License Deal with Danfoss

Varberg, Sweden, January 20, 2026 – Ekkono Solutions AB, a global pioneer in Edge AI software, has signed a multi-year license agreement with Danfoss for Ekkono’s Edge AI software. Danfoss is a Danish giant with forty-thousand employees and the mission to engineer a better future. The agreement is with Danfoss Power Electronics and Drives who drive the electrification of industries.

At Drinktec Danfoss demonstrated sensorless lubrication fault detection in a gearbox by using no external sensors but only internal signals like voltage and current in the Danfoss iC7 variable speed drive. The entire solution runs autonomously on the embedded controller thanks to Ekkono’s tiny footprint, and Ekkono’s incremental edge learning enables real-life deployments in production where every installation is unique and dependent on things that can only be learnt in operations.
